Diane Fine and Mario Laplante: Collaboration and Cultivation lecture
An Artist Talk with Diane Fine and Mario Laplante at CVA, MSU Denver. These two artists have worked collaboratively for more than 30 years. Their recent series examines the cultivation and collection of seeds as it relates to food insecurity resulting from the loss of crop diversity. The poetic aspects of their discussions around these topics provide the inspiration of these works, which are on view at CVA in the Pressing for Change exhibition that runs January 5 – March 23, 2024.
