Phyllis McGibbon is the Elizabeth Christy Kopf Professor of Art at Wellesley College, where she teaches all levels of printmaking and drawing courses and co-directs the Media Arts and Sciences program. She earned her BFA and MFA degrees at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and taught at Wesleyan University, Pomona College, and the Claremont Graduate University before moving to the Boston area. Awards for her work include fellowships from the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, WESTAF, Art Matters, Inc and the Howard Foundation at Brown University.
