About Birthday Card Katherine writes:
My husband Richard Mahon was a man of few possessions. Following his death in May, 2021, I am now slowly looking through the things Richard squirreled away in his study. I have begun making boxes with hand printed labels describing the meaning and origin of these ephemeral items. These boxes will be tucked into Richard’s bookshelves. The birthday card I sent to this exhibition will be folded and placed in an envelope to join my other tributes to Richard’s memory. This activity is bringing me great comfort.
